Project Overview
We received a consultation from an electronic components manufacturer for an ESD (electrostatic discharge) compliant tray that could safely hold and transport precision components vulnerable to static electricity.
Packtoss designed a black tray using conductive resin, with an independent pocket structure for each component that combines electrostatic protection with product protection.
The Customer’s Challenge

Packtoss selected the optimal material for the customer’s product specifications, and leveraged our solid design capabilities to choose a more efficient layout and tray thickness suited to the application. Our strength lies in proposing designs that pursue quality and functionality while maximizing cost consideration.
We designed a black tray using conductive material, with divided pockets matching the component’s shape. The uniform grid structure also takes compatibility with picking work and automated conveyance lines into consideration.
This design led to the following results.
